Terms of Service

Welcome to Howilook ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Howilook mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Howilook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Howilook provides separate face and outfit scan modes for cosmetic styling and grooming suggestions. A scan does not guarantee both modes' results. AI feedback can be inaccurate, inconsistent or biased; scores are subjective estimates, not measured facial geometry, medical or dermatological assessments, or an objective measure of attractiveness or personal worth. Brutal Mode changes the tone of feedback, not its reliability.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

• Release eligibility is pending owner approval: the target audience, minimum age, minor-photo policy and required consent controls must be finalized consistently with the privacy policy and Google Play declarations. No age-verification implementation is claimed.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Upload only photos you are entitled to submit with appropriate consent; do not submit nudity or content that violates copyright, privacy, or publicity rights.

3. Subscriptions, Purchases & Billing

• Plan Terms: Howilook offers Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly service plans granting designated analysis credits ("scans").
• One-Time Payments: Unless otherwise specified, subscription purchases made via third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay) are processed as one-time fixed-duration transactions and do not automatically rebill without affirmative action.
• Allowances: Weekly includes 21 scans, Monthly 75 and Yearly 1,000. New accounts receive three starter scans. A credit is used for one face or outfit analysis request, not both modes together.
• Consumption: Eligible paid scans are used first, then active referral rewards in earliest-expiry order, then starter scans.
• Referral Rewards: An eligible friend's first purchase with an attributed referral grants both participants 5 Weekly, 10 Monthly or 50 Yearly bonus scans. Each reward is valid for one year from grant, independently of paid-plan expiry; rewards are not permanent.
• Rollover Scans: Paid scans are unavailable after plan expiry. On renewal after expiry, at most 300 old paid scans carry over, plus the new plan allowance. The 300 limit is not a cap on the total new balance or on active-plan carryover.
• Refunds & Disputes: Requests and provider events require manual reconciliation; no automatic benefit revocation is promised. Applicable consumer rights are not waived. Final refund terms and support ownership require owner approval before publication.
• Android Distribution: Razorpay remains the current checkout integration. Google Play billing eligibility and merchant readiness are unresolved release prerequisites, not approved by these Terms.

4. User Content & Image Submission

You retain ownership of the photos you upload to Howilook. By uploading photos, you grant Howilook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit, process, and temporarily cache the images solely to generate style scores, assessments, and recommendations requested by you.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit our API or machine learning models.
• Circumvent rate limits, subscription paywalls, or referral systems.
• Submit offensive, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful imagery.

6. Termination & Deletion

You may request account and scan deletion in application settings. Acceptance is not completion: cleanup can remain pending while in-flight operations and stored files are reconciled, and may require retry. Provider-held payment records and backup retention are separate. See the deletion instructions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
